Our work is made possible by the generous giving of members and supporters just like you. Every gift, big and small, goes to support these programs. And while we're truly grateful for your donation of money (or time), there are also ways to support us that don't involve money at all -- for instance the Live Tithe, details of which are below.

How to Give Without Spending a Penny: The Live Tithe |

It's true: You can support the mission and ministry of Gentle Spirit Christian Church without spending a penny. If you're like most of us, you probably have new or gently used items around the house that you'd like to get rid of but don't want to throw away and can't find a home for.
With our Live Tithe program, you can convert those items to support for our church and claim a tax deduction. To date we've raised hundreds of dollars with the Live Tithe. Here's how it works:
- Give us a call to let us know you have an item(s) you'd like to donate.
- Drop it off at our offices at First Christian Church of Decatur or make arrangements with us to have it picked up.
- We'll mail you a letter confirming the value of the items so that you can claim the tax deduction.
It's really that simple!
